- Genre Indicators: From the trailer you can tell that Six Degrees Of Hell is a horror due to the characters that are revealed to the audience such as; a creepy clown, a girl who looks like a zombie, a scary man with blood on his face and an eerie man in a tux that looks like he is part of an 'act'. These characters reveal to the audience that the group of teenagers are in trouble and maybe one by one they turn evil. Another genre indicator is the fast pace scenes in the end of trailer they show the six people struggling to survive against these other characters, it adds to the atmosphere of danger and creates suspense for audience members as they battle to save themselves.
- Narrative: Six individuals get caught up with an evil supernatural storm that attempts to take over the town, along the way the characters realise that one of them is possessed by evil. A building is shown at the beginning and the dialogue 'It absorbs evil' highlights to audience members that the building may have some significance later in the film. At the beginning the trailer reveals that someone has died and one of the girls has seem them, however it shows that she could be the sixth degree of hell. The next time you see the building is when one of the characters says 'Jack's got to shut this place down' this reveals to the audience that evil has started to take over and anyone who enters the building is in danger. However the next shot shows a bunch of people turning up for it's opening night unaware of what could happen. The next few shots afterwards show the different characters facing revealing panic, two of the characters lift the lid to a coffin showing that no one is in it, the next shot is of the girl looking like a zombie is this the evil force they are scared of?. It then goes into the fast paced shots revealing pain for the characters, the clown says 'And your all part of the act', this intrigues the audience into thinking that each character has it own part to play with the evil spirit. A guy at the end of the trailer with black where his eyes should be says 'Now look whose possessed'. This shows the audience that the others are becoming evil and acting different, although he is aware that he is possessed himself.
- Intertitles: 'HELL' is the first intertitle to be revealed to the audience during the fast paced action, this highlights the importance of the evil as it comes from hell, which is known for danger and containing evil spirits. The next Intertitles are 'BREAKS' and 'LOOSE' these are important aspects as they reveals that whatever is after them has broken free and will not stop until it has completed it's course. The title '6 DEGREES OF HELL' is the last intertitle to be seen it expands on the black background highlighting the danger. The title reveals to the audience that there are 6 degrees of hell, intriguing the audience into wondering whether the 6 characters each control one of these degree's.
